INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT ROHTAK M.D University Campus, Rohtak – 124001, invites applications in prescribed format for the post of;

Junior Engineer  : No. of Posts: One
Grade: Junior Engineer
(Functional designation as Engineering Executive)
Mode of Appointment: On contract at a fixed monthly salary commensurate with the pay band Rs.9300-34800 and grade pay Rs.4200.
Tenure: 2 years. Exceptionally good candidates may be considered for a longer tenure. Further extension is possible based on performance.
Qualification: Degree/diploma (under 10+2+4/3 scheme) in civil engineering or an equivalent professional qualification from a reputed institution, with experience or additional qualification in handling electrical work. Consistently good academic record. Sound knowledge of civil project design and implementation. Preference will be given to those having a Post-Graduate degree or diploma in management.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience (excluding apprenticeship or training period) in a similar position in government or academic/research/commercial organization of national/international repute, with at least 2 years in the immediate lower Grade Pay or equivalent of Rs.2400 /- in the Pay Band or equivalent of Rs.5200-20200 (pre-revised scale of Rs.4500-125-7000/-). Applicants should have experience in handling both civil and electrical work. Good working knowledge of computer operations and use of engineering software applications is preferred. Knowledge of installation and maintenance of electronic equipments will be an added advantage. Should have good communication skills in English.
Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on the last date for receiving application.
Functions: Supporting the development and management of civil and electrical structures. A successful applicant should be able to contribute to developing the campus construction projects, implementing them and preventively maintaining the structures created; should be able to interface with the project/construction and maintenance service providers on behalf of the Institute. Reports to Director/Project Manager
