Contractual Engagement of two Technical Associates (Remote Sensing & GIS)
Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy is a national institute under the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India which imparts professional training to Indian Forest Service probationers and in-service training to IFS officers. The academy has got well equipped facility for training on remote sensing, GIS and GPS. Applications are invited for engaging two Technical Associates (SRF) on contractual basis for training activity on Remote Sensing & GIS applications in forest management in the Academy. The engagement of Technical Associates would be for a period of six months, the period of engagement will be extended only in case of further requirement,.
Desirable Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Remote Sensing and GIS Application. Preference will be given to UGC/CSIR/NET qualified candidates |
Selection: Interested candidates should submit their application along with their resume giving full details of their name, qualification, date of birth, father’s name, correspondence and permanent addresses and contact numbers including mobile and email id. After screening of the applications, candidates will be called for a test which will include written test, hands-on-test on use of RS and GIS software and an interview. Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their qualification, experience and their performance in the test. Decision of the Director IGNFA shall be final.
