MEDICAL OFFICER (FEMALE) RECRUITMENT IN UTTAR PRADESH, INDIA

PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, UTTAR PRADESH invites applications for the post of Female Medical Officer, 
PROVINCIAL MEDICAL AND HEALTH SERVICE, U.P.

Allopathic Medical Officers (Female) sub-cadre group "B" by direct recruitment,

No of post: 431 posts
Pay Scale- Rs. 15600-39100/-, Grade pay 5400 and others allowances as per Govt. Rules. Nature of Post- Gazetted, Temporary and period of probation - 2 years. 
Essential Qualification- A candidate for direct recruitment to various posts in the Female Cadres of the service must possess M.B.B.S. degree from any University recognised by the Medical Council of India. A candidate who Possess a post-graduate Degree/ Diploma in Medical or Health Sciences in a particular subject of a University recognised by the Medical Council of India or the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council shall be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment. In addition to this, it is also necessary to be completed one year rotatory internship and permanent U.P. Medical Council registration till the last date of receipt of application form.  
Preferential Qualification- Other things being equal, such candidates shall be given preferences in the matter of direct recruitment- (1) Who has served in the territorial army for minimum period of two years, or (2) Who has obtained a "B" certificate of National Cadet Corps.  
Age Limit- 21 to 35 years (upper age limit of reserved category candidates shall be relaxable as per rules). Only Female candidates will be eligible.
